The Hitler Quarter

Legend has it that in the 1920s, the United States was in the process of creating a quarter to honor Adolph Hitler, in recognition of the good steps he’d taken in putting Germany on the straight and narrow after WWI. However, the government finally figured out that Hitler wasn’t following the restrictions and abandoned the idea of the coin. However, one single prototype is rumored to exist.

  2. Wow, imagine how cool it would be to own the prototype. then on the hundredth anniversary of the end of WWII putting it on ebay.
